By accessing, browsing, or using the Laughter Therapy Academy website (“Site”), or by purchasing, enrolling in, or attending any course, session, or program (collectively, “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.

You represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Laughter therapy content provided through the Site or Services is for educational and general wellness purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

You should consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical or mental health questions or concerns. If you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any other concerning symptoms during participation, stop immediately and seek appropriate care. If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

8. Payments and refunds

Prices, billing frequency, and what is included are presented before checkout or enrollment. Taxes and fees (if applicable) may be added at checkout depending on your location and applicable law.

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on self-paced courses, measured from the date of purchase, unless a different policy is clearly stated at checkout for a specific offer. To request a refund, contact us using the details in the “Contact” section. Refunds, if approved, are returned to the original payment method when possible.

Live sessions, workshops, cohorts, or time-bound programs may have different cancellation policies if specified at the time of purchase. Where permitted by law, we may deny refunds in cases of fraud, abuse of the policy, or violation of these Terms.

9. Third-party links and services

The Site may reference or link to third-party websites or tools. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to the third party’s terms.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months preceding the event.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Laughter Therapy Academy and its affiliates from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Site or Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of another.
